It makes it clear that these monkeys do have more than 'just instincts.' Though I understand that old age and bad health are a part of life, it's still tough to see. I wonder has Tokkuri 92-16 been fully weaned at this point? I've heard from some studies that close relatives who have a baby close in age will allow the orphan to feed but I've yet to actually see that happen.
